Villa Todoque

4 1 2 2

Spacious villa  on La Palma with heatable private swimming pool in a quiet location in the sunny western part of the island with view of the ocean!

The Villa Todoque offers amenities such as a spacious interior with 1,600 sq ft of living space. You find many places to lounge and relax around the house along with a significant amount of privacy! If you rent a car it can be conveniently stored in the villa’s private garage.

Todoque, the small village where the villa is located, is the last “bastion” before Puerto Naos. The vacation house itself is only about five minutes away from the beach. Another definite advantage of the villa is the privacy of both its pool area with saltwater pool and the frontal terrace. The villa can also only be reached via a private road.

To add to the fun, a ping-pong table is found next to the pool.

The villa’s rooms are bright and large, and all rooms have access to the terrace. The master bedroom is equipped with an ensuite bathroom with shower as well as a large closet. The second bedroom can be found directly next to the second bathroom (with bathtub) and is also equipped with a large closet. The kitchen is integrated into the living room and is well-equipped.

The villa is surrounded by 27,000 sq ft of property, with many plants and fruit trees.

The Villa Todoque is our recommendation for those who want to enjoy the sun surrounded by comfort. Using the villa as a base, you can easily make day trips around the entire island. The vacation house is also perfect for those visiting La Palma for the first time and who would like to get to know this beautiful island!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Todoque which is the perfect house on the perfect location. Thanks to Marlen for the perfect service (as usual) as well to Carmen and Pablo for the friendly welcome...we really feel at home at Villa Todoque.

    Nothing...everything just perfect !

Klimatisch günstige Lage, fußläufig zu zwei guten Restaurants, gute Ausstattung, tolle Terassen und Poolbereich, schön möbliert, nicht weit vom schönen Strand in Puerto Naos entfernt

    Der Pool ist sehr kalt

Stayed at Villa Todoque in October 2017 and it was absolutely one of the best experiences we had on La Palma. The house is at a perfect location, very private, fantastic pool and fully equipped ! The beds were a delight ! For us nothing has to be improved ! Also the welcome at the house by Pablo was very pleasing ! We certainly will contact CanaryCompany again in the future, because they also handled everything very professional ! Paul and Susy from Belgium

La Palma

La Palma

The island of La Palma offers breathtaking landscapes, remote beaches, imposing volcanoes, dense forests and incomparably starry skies.

With its 708 square kilometres, an elevation of 2.426m and its shape of a heart it is the most Western island of the Canary Island chain. Like every island in this archipelago, La Palma was created by volcanic activity. It is one of the youngest of the seven islands, dating back some 1.7 million years. The volcanic origin of La Palma is still clearly recognizable today, especially the southern part of the island with the dormant volcano Teneguía which last erupted in 1971, and offers interesting insights into its geological past.

The year-round mild climate with average temperatures between 18 and 27 degrees Celsius produce spring-summerlike weather as a result of the northeast trade winds.
This weather phenomenon is responsible for a pleasant subtropical climate and a rich green vegetation that prevails because of the humidity carried along in the trade winds. These moisture rich winds at certain times of the year also create a spectacular waterfall of clouds cascading down the central mountain faces and hence the nicknames Isla Verde – Green Island and Isla Bonita – Beautiful Island.
The unique geological structure of the island with its variety of vegetation zones and microclimates that are rarely found in the world on such a small area make this island a miniature universe. Each area of the island varies completely from another. In 1983 La Palma was declared a UNESCO biosphere reserve.

Another special feature of La Palma is the unique night sky. Due to its location in the Atlantic Ocean, sparse population, minimum light pollution and highest mountain peak Roque de los Muchachos 2.426m, the island was chosen as the location for one of the largest and modern observatories in the world.

The official population of the island is approximately 80,000 people. Traditional festivals such as the Bajada de la Virgen or Los Indianos carnival, famous far beyond the island’s borders, bear witness to the zest for life of the local people (Palmeros). Not only the geographical location, but also the numerous immigrants from Central and South America show a variety of Hispanic influences in island life, cuisine and cultural.
